Norwegian Getaway Photo Tour

Whenever getting ready for a vacation, one of my favorite things to do is look around for pictures and videos of wherever it is that I'm going. This is especially true when it comes time to experience a new cruise ship! I'm sure there are lots of people who would rather experience everything for the first time in person but, to be honest, I usually have to do something to keep me sane while I wait for whatever big trip is coming.

So, as promised, here is my "photo tour" of the Norwegian Getaway cruise ship. This is in no way every inch of the ship. I just took a walk around at the end of our week and took pictures of some of the areas I thought were pretty. Hope you enjoy!

678 Oceanplace

678 Oceanplace is a central area on the ship that spans three floors (6, 7, and 8!). It's where you can find the obligatory but beautiful chandelier and massive staircase as well as the casino, a French bistro, a comedy club and lots more.

Shopping Area

The shopping area was pretty standard but it did have a beauty/cosmetics store with a really nice selection.

Bars, Lounges, and Restaurants

These are just a few, there are SO many more!

Garden Cafe (The Buffet)

Everyone's favorite spot on a ship! This buffet was MASSIVE and went around to both sides of the ship including both inside and outside areas. I thought the food was always great and the area had a ton of

The Spa

My personal favorite place on the ship! I took a walk straight through the spa area including the cardio area of the gym, the front desk, the salon, the barber shop, the locker room, and the Thermal Suite.

Carlo's Bake Shop

Everything here was so yummy and they even have a gelato window that opens out onto The Waterfront!

Water Park and Kids Pool

Main Adult Pool Area

Hope you enjoyed my little tour! I really hope to sail on the Getaway again someday!
